How We Got Here

Hello and welcome to Learn with Rose. Thank you so much for visiting our small business and blog.

I am Chris, an Early Years leader and primary school teacher with 14 years experience teaching Early Years and Key Stage One children. I recently gained my most important job title, 'Mummy' to my little girl, Rose - the inspiration for my small business venture.

Everyday Rose and I play, learn and grow together. Whilst she is making connections and growing as a little person, I am learning and growing as a mum. Being a parent has definitely confirmed for me that learning never stops no matter how old you are.

Rose loves visual stimulation. She waves good morning to the animal pictures on her nursery walls, smiles and points to pictures of faces in stories and laughs and reaches for photographs of family members. This is where my inspiration for Learn With Rose began.

Her love of visual resources inspired me to create my own collection for use as she grows. The resources and visual flashcards we sell are designed to be used in fun, interactive and practical ways. Although flashcards can be used to learn by rote I believe that they have a far greater impact when used as part of a game or fun learning activity.
